The company is unveiling its Silyte™ silicon anode for commercial sampling at the CES 2026 show in Las Vegas. Silyte is designed to power the next generation of wearable and AI-enabled devices, and has opened a sales and business development office in Richmond, Virginia to support U.S.-based customers.

By enabling smaller, lighter, and faster-charging batteries, Silyte™ allows wearable devices such as smartwatches, earbuds, and smart glasses to support AI-enabled features without compromising battery life or device form factor.

Strategic Partnerships and Manufacturing for the U.S. Market
LeydenJar has secured significant funding to scale its silicon anode technology, including $11.7m customer funding from a leading U.S. consumer electronics company to support commercial deployment. The company collaborates with multiple cell manufacturers, including Highpower Technology in China, to integrate Silyte™ into next-generation batteries. This approach ensures a reliable and diversified supply chain capable of meeting the needs of U.S.-based OEMs and product developers.

Accelerating U.S. Market Growth
The new Richmond office strengthens LeydenJar’s ability to support U.S. partners with commercial, technical, and business development expertise. The new location will exist alongside a battery lab in Leiden (The Netherlands), pilot and commercial production in Eindhoven (The Netherlands) and an application engineering office in Taipei (Taiwan). By building dedicated teams close to their customers, the company is positioned to deliver Silyte™ at scale while maintaining high standards for sustainability, performance, and manufacturability.
